Schedule
The Statewide Transportation Plan is scheduled to be completed by March 2008. The schedule
calls for a series of meetings with participating committees at milestones in the study.
The schedule outlines a work program with three distinct elements:
1. Statewide Transportation Plan Update
- Phase 1: Organize the Study
- Phase 2: Assess System Characteristics and Conditions
- Phase 3: Assess Future Conditions
- Phase 4: Identify Needs, Solutions, and Programs
2. Travel Demand Model
- Organize the Model Development Approach
- Model Existing Conditions
- Model Future Conditions
- Summarize Model Results
3. Public Involvement/Agency Coordination
- Update Public Involvement Plan
- Establish Participant Committees
- Public Involvement Meetings
